were analyzed by a random-effects model. To obtain the overall
incidence of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) in hospitalized patients, we combined the
incidence of ADRs occurring while in the hospital plus the incidence
of ADRs causing admission to hospital. We excluded errors in
drug administration, noncompliance, overdose, drug abuse, therapeutic
failures, and possible ADRs. Serious ADRs were defined as those
that required hospitalization, were permanently disabling, or
resulted in death.
Data Synthesis.— The
% (95% confidence interval [CI], 5.2%-8.2%) and
of fatal ADRs was 0.32% (95% CI, 0.23%-0.41%) of hospitalized
patients. We estimated that
in 1994 overall 2,216,000
(1,721.000-2,711,000) hospitalized patients had serious Adverse Drug Reactions and
106,000
(76,000-137,000) had fatal ADRs, making these reactions between the
fourth and sixth leading cause of death..

A one-step simple synthesis of silver colloid nanoparticles
with controllable sizes is presented...which showed high antimicrobial and
bactericidal activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria,
including highly multiresistant strains such as methicillin-resistant
Staphylococcus aureus. Antibacterial activity of silver nanoparticles was
found to be dependent on the size of silver particles. A very low

Scientists have changed the parameters of a colloid:
The old
definition of a colloid had clear ionic particles at the low end of a
ruler like scale,

a business. It is true I have poured my heart into helping you learn, in hopes
-that together- we can help make colloidal silver a household word...who
knows, we may save the life of someone very important to us.
Think about what it is that prompted you to pick me, out of all the
other possibilities. Was it a referral from a friend? Some tiny ad on Google, or
perhaps the articles you read after that search engine link first prompted you?
It really matters not, except it could bode well for future sales if you can
